    I’ve worked with leadership teams to explore new business models, develop growth-focused data strategies to unlock the value of their data assets, and build action plans to grow their business.

  • Every business worries about performance. Optimising operations, processes and organisational structures is a constant challenge. Improving efficiency and effectiveness across all business functions is a constant pursuit.

    I’ve worked with large businesses, many in the technology sector, to improve their operating models. Starting with the performance lens is key to make sure that future state designs are intentional and workable, and not just an exercise in change for change’s sake.

  • Many businesses turn to process improvements and technology to boost their productivity. The critical piece of the jigsaw is adoption: good ideas can bounce off organisations if they’re not properly designed.

    I’ve done a lot of work in the change and adoption space, helping clients and their teams get to grips with new technology, tools and processes. Change can be exhilarating - but it can also create stress and anxiety. I work with people, process and technology to make changes stick.

    And in the AI era, I’m helping clients build AI-literate, confident and forward-looking businesses that can get immediate benefits from this fast-moving technology.

Not so much what I do, but why I do it: growth, performance and productivity have been the constant themes of my career working with clients. If it’s not one, it’s the other. But often it’s all three, together.

My skillset draws on business architecture, change management, programme delivery, operating model design and technology disciplines.

Commercial Process Review

Helped a UK B2B business understand opportunities for productivity improvement across its commercial processes. The starting point was rapidly assessing process maturity, but the organisation needed an action plan which reflected their agile, fast-moving culture - not endless process maps.

Data and AI Strategy

Developed practical data strategies for businesses making their first meaningful steps into AI. Created roadmaps that prioritised high-value use cases while building organisational capabilities and governance frameworks.

Growth Strategy

I facilitated a growth strategy session for the leadership team of a boutique data consultancy. The goal was to create capacity below the top team to sell and deliver work. The challenge was to preserve the values and culture that had made them successful.

Bid Engine Room

Ran an analysis and design exercise with fast-growing services business needing to build capability to support the sales teams. We explored different models for building an ‘engine room’ for developing distinctive, high-quality proposals for clients, and set out a roadmap to put it in place

Operating Model Design

Finding growth pockets in a crowded market is a difficult and often requires a co-ordinated change in ways of working. I worked with large technology business to re-imagine their go-to-market and sales enablement functions to better focus on their clients.

Portfolio Management Framework

Designed a comprehensive portfolio function for a multinational conglomerate to drive standardization, growth and performance across their business units. The framework established consistent evaluation metrics and governance processes.

Marketing and Customer Comms

Worked with an innovative technology business to help marketing, product and customer success teams improve the quality of their written communications. The key was how to embed the right tone of voice that reflected the company’s identity as a human, straightforward and helpful partner.

Bid Support and Training

Worked with a large consultancy and systems integrator to support a number of major bids. I used a combination of training and coaching to help bid teams, and also took on reviewing, assuring and refining tasks to help create polished proposals that fully reflected the capabilities and value of the business.
